  1. Payment entitlement at an order level taking into account all receivables and deductibles such as sell on Amazon fee, weight handling fee, etc.
  2. Actual remittance that includes order level remittances as well as other receivables and deductibles such as ad spends, storage fees, etc.

Prione is an authorized developer registered on Marketplace Web Services (MWS). We require you to authorize Prione as a developer on Seller Central post which the tool would be able to fetch relevant data to perform reconciliation. The tool makes use of below information from your MWS:
  1. Merchant tax reports (MTR) from MWS APIs – The tool uses this report to gather your sales data.
  2. Product and fee estimates from MWS APIs – The tool uses this to gather product level information such as category, dimensions and fee estimates to calculate the fee entitlement for all your orders and refunds.
  3. Payment date range reports from manual uploads – The tool uses this data to calculate payment status and discrepancies
For all fee components calculated, the reconciliation tool is accurate with i) some positive inaccuracies to the tune of 0.5% to 1% i.e. the tool calculates a lower payment entitlement than what you have actually received and ii) some negative inaccuracies to the tune of 0.01% i.e. the tool calculates a higher entitlement than what you have actually received. However, please note for historical data prior to Jan 1st 2020, there has been a revision in the fee policy and the tool currently calculates information based on current fee structure. Please refer to https://services.amazon.in/standards/fee-schedule.html for details of fee changes made and categories affected. Therefore, you may encounter some discrepancies for categories affected. However, this will be rectified in our product upgradation release planned for March 31st and you may expect accurate data prior to Jan 1st 2020 as well.
The tool currently does not have API integration for transfer of payment details to other software.
The tool primarily reconciles all payments at an order ID level. However, for the time period chosen for reconciliation, the tool also provides a settlement summary that is not just limited to order wise payment components but also overall charges such as inventory storage fee, fee adjustments, cost of advertising, etc.
The tool currently performs order related payment reconciliations. We have inventory and refund reconciliation features upcoming in September 2020.
At present, the tool does not reconcile with actual bank statements. The tool relies on Amazon settlement statements for remittance information.
The tool highlights both lower and higher payments in the payment discrepancy section in the detailed report. Please refer to FAQ (14) for more information on accuracy of these values.
It is possible to reconcile data for the entire year. However, the tool is reliant on MWS APIs that only allow us to fetch data for the previous 3 months. While, we save data from the time you have registered on the application, we would require you to manually upload data for any period more than 3 months prior to your date of registration. For example, if you have registered on Count on Cloud on 1st Jan 2020, the tool automatically retrieves your data from October 2019 and going forward, the tool will continue to retrieve your data each new month and you can reconcile for any duration during this period. However, if you wish to reconcile prior to October 2019, you will have to manually upload requisite information.
